CGI Foundry is more a hosting and programming resource than a web site design shop. We do, however, have all the essential tools to bring a full-featured web presence to life. Our customers tend to fall in to these categories:

• Some customers create their own site with something like Microsoft FrontPage. FrontPage is easy for people familiar with other members of the Office suite, and comes with several pre-designed templates.
• Others simply want to move an existing site because they have moved to Marin from another area and want a local web host.
• Still others come with definite ideas on what they want to do and just need a little help implementing it in HTML.Often a customer will have printed materials that are already in use; we can mimic the design, scan the graphics, and put together a web site that complements the existing copy and art.

Some of our server-based projects have been specially written so that they can be easily implemented on customer sites. The most popular of these is an events calendar, which can be integrated into a web page either in the traditional calendar format or as an date-ordered list of coming events occupying a column of another page.

If graphic art is high on your priorities, we will generally refer you to a specialist for the design aspects of your site. CGI Foundry will then integrate any interactive elements for you, including those portions that you would like to maintain yourself through a log-in process, and place the site on the Internet.

Rates for design work are negotiable.
